Visitors to the school
- For the security and safety of our students, all parents and visitors must enter the school through Gate A, along Bedok Reservoir Crescent, (Refer to Page 9). All visitors are to obtain a Visitor Pass and display the pass at all times. All visitors are to display the Visitor pass at all times.
- Proceed to the General Office to make known the purpose of your visit and arrangements will be made through the General Office staff where necessary.
- Parents and visitors are not allowed to move around the school unsupervised.
Arrival & Dismissal
- Parent/Guardian can drive into the school premises to drop-off and pick-up your child/ward at the school foyer. Parent/Guardian are not disembark from their vehicle during the drop-off / pick-up to minimize disruption to traffic.
- During dismissal, parents can only drive in to pick up your child from the foyer after all school buses have left the premises. You are advised to park at the nearby HDB car park while waiting to avoid congestion and causing inconvenience to the neighbouring residents. Strictly no waiting/parking at the foyer at all times.
- Parent/Guardian who is not driving can wait near the gates A and B during dismissals. In case of rainy weather, parents at Gate A will be allowed to enter the school premises to wait at the parents’ holding area near the foyer.
Student Care Dismissal
- Parent/Guardian are to make prior arrangement with the Student Care Centre for ad-hoc dismissals so that your child/ward can be brought out to the foyer, parents waiting area and/or gates.
- Parent/Guardian should be accompanied by staff of student care if there is a need to visit the student care premises.
Leaving School Before Dismissal
- Student must obtain permission from parent/guardian through Form Teacher or General Office.
- Student are to be picked up by parent/guardian or an adult authorized by parent/guardian.
- Parent/guardian or the adult who is picking up the student will have to sign an early dismissal form in the General office before leaving the school premises with the student stating the reason for early dismissal.
School Car Park
- The school car park is strictly reserved for staff and authorised vehicles parking.
- Parents and visitors are to park at the nearby HDB car parks.
- Unauthorised vehicles will not be allowed to enter the school premises for security reasons.
School Activities
- Consent forms will be given prior to any special programmes such as LearningJourneys, enrichments, supplementary classes, camps etc for the student to participate in the activities.
- The forms must be signed and returned before the start of the activities.
Communication with parents
- The school values parents/guardians as co-partners in educating our students and communicate with parents via Parents Gateway, Student Handbook, Emails, Phone calls – via school line 6445 6483, School Website, Letters to parents, Parents’ Briefings and Parents-Teacher Meetings.
- We seek your understanding that communication with teachers/staff should only take place within school hours during working days, unless for emergency cases. Teachers are not required to share their personal mobile phone numbers with parents.
- For any class-related matters, Form Teachers / Subject Teachers are the first point of contact. Parents are encouraged to use the student handbook to communicate with the teachers. For level or school-related matters, parents may approach Year Heads and Admin Manager.
- Parents may email the Form / Subject teachers and/or staff. The email addresses of teachers/staff are available on the school website. Parents who wish to have a face-to-face meeting with the teachers/staff should make prior arrangement with the teachers/staff.
- To facilitate communication, please update the school promptly if there is a change in the main point-of-contact and/or the contact details of the parents/guardians for our students. You may send the updates to your child’s/ward’s Form Teachers via email.
Canteen
- The canteen serves only the students and staff of the school.
- Parents and visitors are advised not to buy food for their children or patronize the stalls.
- The school has a “Buddy” system to orientate P1 students. They will be assigned to a buddy from the upper primary who will assist in the buying of food, returning of utensils as well as familiarising the student with the school facilities.
Road safety
- Students must use pedestrian crossings while crossing the roads.
- Students are to refer to next page for the safety routes to and from school.
- Road safety walks and talks will be organized by the school to familiarise the students.

- Gate B operating hours for afternoon activities dismissals will be communicated when the school term starts in 2023.
- All Gates will be closed at 7.30am for morning assembly. Students/Vehicle will only be allowed entry after singing of the National Anthem and Pledge Taking.
